Preliminary weavings for a painting

Using paint as the threads of a cloth that builds memory, or as the stains of a city which sets its walls free in order for them to crumble, stain or melt, these paintings unite the world which is inscribed under the walls of Bogotá with the immense world geography that lies behind the names of the neighbourhoods of this city. From Siberia to Atlanta, by means of the city’s public transportation we are able to discover the world without leaving Bogotá’s premises. These paintings take us to a special world that lies behind this city’s threads.....
